To show communities what a finished GIS map of pavement would look like I have submitted a poster that depicts the Pavement Condition Index of all roads in the Town of Greenburgh, NY.
This poster was put together from a project that Transmap did with the Town to assist Greenburgh in the tracking and maintenance of there pavement conditions.
What this poster represents:
Transmap performed a pavement distress inventory on all roads within the Town of Greenburgh.
The distress data was then implemented into MicroPAVER (Most widely used pavement management system in the country. Recommend by APWA)
Transmap linked the Pavement Condition Index from the results in MicroPAVER to the Town's digital basemap. These results are displayed as colors from Red=bad to Green=good.
Transmap also put together reporting based on the raw data that went into MicroPAVER.
