Transmap will be at the NYSGIS conference in Syracuse, NY

Transmap will once again be at the 2008 NYSGIS Conference in Syracuse, NY. Come see the Transmap booth on Monday October 6th from 10am - 6:30pm, or October 7th from 8am - 2pm. Clams and Commerce


Last Thursday, Transmap® headed to the Columbus Zoo to enjoy the 85th annual Clambake, hosted by the Columbus Chamber. The Columbus Chamber hosts the event to provide a venue for social networking and it is one of the largest networking dinners in the region. This event allows members to promote their companies with the hope that it will support economic growth in the region.

Project Kick-Off Meeting


On Thursday, September 10th, Transmap® and Timmons Group kicked off our Transportation Asset Inventory and Pavement Management System Project for the City of Alexandria, VA. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the project team, showcase Transmap’s ON-SIGHT™ HD mapping vehicle, to review the city’s implementation goals and to define the critical path schedule milestones for the project. The meeting went very well.

Transmap at 2008 Ohio GIS Conference


Transmap will once again be at the 2008 Ohio GIS Conference in Columbus, OH. Come see the Transmap booth on September 10th from 11am - 6pm, or September 11th from 7am - 1pm. Transmap would like to thank everyone who attended our 2nd annual Rock Bottom Happy Hour. The party turned into a 4 hour Happy Hour with the help of Transmap partners Timmons and Woolpert.

Congratulations El Paso and Newport News on your ESRI SAG award

Transmap would like to announce that two of our clients, The City of El Paso, TX and The City of Newport News, VA have been awarded the Special Achievement in GIS Award by ESRI. "By embracing GIS technology, these organizations have made extraordinary contributions to our global society and set new precedents throughout the GIS community."
The data that Transmap has provided in Asset/Pavement management has helped make their GIS systems more robust.
