JIMI Kick off Meeting

Thank you to all the JIMI members for a very successful project kick off!

Yesterday, August 5, at the Lewis County Court House in the Village of Lowville, NY Court House, Transmap was part of the JIMI project kick off press conference and meeting.  This meeting acted as the official start to a 1,300 mile Pavement and Asset management project in Lewis and Jefferson County.

What A first Day!

Day 1 at Cityworks Conference

Wow! What a big first day at the conference.  I started the like most everyone with some coffee and a great Plenary session.  Brian was like a rock star on stage.

With a quick but good box lunch we were off to Zion to see the beautiful sites.

Cityworks Golf

I had a great day at the Coral Canyon Golf Course.  My team could not hold it together on the back nine and came in second but we all had a good time.
I want to thank Dave Horton for putting the outing together.

City of Huber Heights, OH Structural Analysis(FWD) Testing




Transmap will be performing Falling Weight Deflectometer Testing for the City of Huber Heights starting April 21-23, 2010.
The testing vehicle is a white Ford Econoline Van with license plate #188949 D with the FWD trailer mounted on back license #1188

Transmap has been doing some great sign measurements using our advanced LiDAR technology coupled with our traditional photogrammetric methods.

Day 2 NY GIS Conference

Today is the last day of the conference and I have met some really great GIS professionals these last two days.

The dinner and presentation about the Adirondacks were great last night and I would like to thank the council for a well put together conference.

What a beautiful day here in Lake Placid, NY. A great day to kick off the25th NY GIS conference. There are over 300 GIS people here and I would like to thank the council for putting together a great agenda.

NY GIS Poster Entry


Please stop by the poster exhibits at the NY GIS show in Lake Placid, NY and see a GIS representation of Pavement Condition.

To show communities what a finished GIS map of pavement would look like I have submitted a poster that depicts the Pavement Condition Index of all roads in the Town of Greenburgh, NY.

This poster was put together from a project that Transmap did with the Town to assist Greenburgh in the tracking and maintenance of there pavement conditions.
