JIMI Project Kick Off Media Day 2010

JIMI Kick off Meeting

Thank you to all the JIMI members for a very successful project kick off!

Yesterday, August 5, at the Lewis County Court House in the Village of Lowville, NY Court House, Transmap was part of the JIMI project kick off press conference and meeting.  This meeting acted as the official start to a 1,300 mile Pavement and Asset management project in Lewis and Jefferson County.

MicroPAVER Training in Huber Heights

Huber Staff Gets Familiar With MicroPAVER


Transmap's Craig Schorling and Keith Lisby are in Huber Heights, OH for MicroPAVER training.  The training took place July 28th - July 29th.  This training class is set up to be an introduction to MicroPAVER and distress collection.


Day 1

Involved the background of how distress data was collected and the understanding of how MicroPAVER is set up as a network.  Day one also covered how Transmap has linked all the distress and pavement condition data to the City's centerline file.

Transmap Selected For Joint Infrastructure Management Initiative (JIMI) Project in New York

 

Transmap is excited to begin the Joint Infrastructure Management Initiative (JIMI) Project in Jefferson and Lewis counties, along with 13 of their towns and villages.  These areas have been awarded New York state funding for Transmap to develop and manage a digital inventory of roads and other infrastructure.
