Day 2 NY GIS Conference

Today is the last day of the conference and I have met some really great GIS professionals these last two days.

The dinner and presentation about the Adirondacks were great last night and I would like to thank the council for a well put together conference.

Below is a picture of the beautiful scenery that I have past in my travels to and from the conference.

What a beautiful day here in Lake Placid, NY. A great day to kick off the25th NY GIS conference. There are over 300 GIS people here and I would like to thank the council for putting together a great agenda.

NY GIS Poster Entry


Please stop by the poster exhibits at the NY GIS show in Lake Placid, NY and see a GIS representation of Pavement Condition.

To show communities what a finished GIS map of pavement would look like I have submitted a poster that depicts the Pavement Condition Index of all roads in the Town of Greenburgh, NY.

This poster was put together from a project that Transmap did with the Town to assist Greenburgh in the tracking and maintenance of there pavement conditions.
