Last Thursday, Transmap® headed to the Columbus Zoo to enjoy the 85th annual Clambake, hosted by the Columbus Chamber. The Columbus Chamber hosts the event to provide a venue for social networking and it is one of the largest networking dinners in the region. This event allows members to promote their companies with the hope that it will support economic growth in the region.

The Transmap ON-SIGHT HD van collects both visible images and non-visible laser data. The laser data creates a "point cloud". Any object the returns the laser data is given a location and reflectivity information.

On Thursday, September 10th, Transmap® and Timmons Group kicked off our Transportation Asset Inventory and Pavement Management System Project for the City of Alexandria, VA. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the project team, showcase Transmap’s ON-SIGHT™ HD mapping vehicle, to review the city’s implementation goals and to define the critical path schedule milestones for the project. The meeting went very well.
