Google Maps has sent signs to their favorite places, and Transmap is one of them!

Transmap has been doing some great sign measurements using our advanced LiDAR technology coupled with our traditional photogrammetric methods.

Transmap uses static GPS positioning equipement to verify the accuracy of our data sets.

The Transmap team would like to wish all our friends, customers and colleagues a Happy Thanksgiving. To let our team members spend a little extra time with their families, we will be closed both Thursday and Friday. We will reopen at 8AM on Monday, November 30, 2009.

We have been putting our HD video streams on the internet for many years, but we are investigating how we can leverage YouTube to host and distribute our large video files.

Today is the last day of the conference and I have met some really great GIS professionals these last two days.

The dinner and presentation about the Adirondacks were great last night and I would like to thank the council for a well put together conference.

What a beautiful day here in Lake Placid, NY. A great day to kick off the25th NY GIS conference. There are over 300 GIS people here and I would like to thank the council for putting together a great agenda.

To show communities what a finished GIS map of pavement would look like I have submitted a poster that depicts the Pavement Condition Index of all roads in the Town of Greenburgh, NY.

This poster was put together from a project that Transmap did with the Town to assist Greenburgh in the tracking and maintenance of there pavement conditions.

What this poster represents:
